LET'S KEEP DANCING
As of June 29, 2020, Performing Arts Centers will have clearance to open for operation under the Governor’s Guidelines.
Please read the attached Guidelines and be sure to communicate the importance of these “rules” to your children. You are best suited to communicate the severity of the situation. Again, students need to follow spacing instructions, or they will not be allowed to attend class.
Although we believe we have offered the best opportunity to continue our dance program during the pandemic, virtual dance lessons are not the optimum learning experience for our students. They are deprived of the teaming of the dance and unification of the dancers. Teaching “live” and remote students concurrently has also put significant pressure upon our faculty. We cannot teach a class properly and fully integrate the dancers when we need to divide our attention between live and remote students in as we try to assign their position, manage transitions and watch the flow. The concept is foreign to the dance environment.
We will continue to operate in a safe and clean environment.
