We wish you our very best for 2012 and we pray that you will find peace, prosperity, health and happiness in the New Year. Once again we truly thank you for the faith you have placed in us…particularly during these very difficult economic times. We realize that you have a choice of recreation activities for your children and  we are so grateful that you have selected Broadway Bound. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to teach such a wonderful group of young people and we thank you.

Pinkerton Academy site for this year's event

Once again we would like to invite everyone to attend the annual celebration of our talented Dance and Baton Competition Teams! The teams will be performing all of their routines on Saturday, January 28th at 1:00pm at the Pinkerton Academy in Derry.  The Performing Company will also be making a guest appearance.  And if you have been watching the construction progress of the "castle", come see the debut of our gala production number "Wishes" adapted from the renowned fireworks production at Walt Disney World. This is a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to see the bigger kids perform and see what others in the studio are doing. Bring them to the show to support their schoolmates and perhaps it will inspire them to achieve a higher level of performance as well as a greater appreciation of the arts.

Tickets are available at the studio for $8.00 and all proceeds will benefit the students by way of the Dollars for Dancers support group.

The 1st Dance Competition is Dancer's Inc. on February 4th at Nashua North HS.

It is free so come on out and cheer the Team on and take a look at dancers from the surrounding area.

The first Baton Twirling Competition was held this past Sunday...and the team finished in first place. Amanda Majchrzak placed 1st and 3rd in he first solo performances. Kudos to Amanda.

AND...by the way, "So you think you can dance!" The Dance Competition Team will once again be attending the Excel In Motion Dance Workshop on January 21st and 22nd in Danvers, Ma. This coveted dance education convention will feature dancers from the popular television program,  "So You Think You Can Dance!"

Dominic, Allison, Katy and Twitch are scheduled to teach at the event.                              Amanda Majchrzak

If you bring in a new student  to try a free class and if they join anytime in the month of January you will both get a Buddy T-Shirt.

Buddy Week, January 25th -30th

If you add an additional class in January we will discount the tuition for that class by $20.00. A $55 class will be $35 and a $45 class will only be $25. Sign up now and enjoy a significant reduction from the normal tuition. This offer expires on January 31st.

Time to tumble! If there is enough interest we would like to schedule another cheerleading workshop or class for the spring semester.  We will determine the exact time and tuition if we have enough student interest. Please leave your name at the desk.

All costumes have been ordered for those families that have paid for them. Unfortunately we are unable to order some costumes until we receive payment. If you have not paid for your costume's) please do so as soon as possible. A late fee of $10 per costume will be charged on payments received after December 20th. It is also important to note that your selection of AutoPay is for tuition only. We will not charge your credit card for costumes without a note from you authorizing us to do so! If you are not sure if you paid for your costume send us a note and we’ll check for you. IF YOU WANT US TO CHARGE YOUR CARD ON FILE YOU MUST SEND US AN EMAIL TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT.

Please note: Some costumes have already arrived.  Some costume companies create a stock of costumes before the rush.  We were lucky enough to take advantage of this stock with one of the companies we ordered from.  It will still take until the middle of May to receive all costumes and take care of any exchanges that we need to make.  We will be sure to hand out costumes as we receive them.  Please protect them at home. We will not be including tights in the costumes this year.  All of the costume companies increased the price of their costumes and we decided  to we would keep last years costume price but we opted to eliminate the tights.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.  You are still welcome to order tights through us at the desk.

               Need Shoes?

We ask that all registered students order the necessary shoes needed for class.  The shoe buckets will be removed from the lobby shortly.  Orders are placed once a month on the 15th of the month.

Please help us keep

the lobby neat!

Please encourage your children to use the dressing room downstairs.  There is a space provided for children to hang up their clothes and leave there shoes.  All of the clutter that builds up in the lobby is really a safety issue.

PLEASE NOTE: Dollars for Dancers has reconsidered sponsoring a Monarchs Game as noted in the last newsletter. Another event may be scheduled in the future.
