January 2010 Newsletter Thank you for being Broadway Bound!
Happy New Year! On behalf of the entire Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center staff we wish you the very best for 2010 and the years beyond. We pray that you will find peace, prosperity, health and happiness in the new year. Once again we want you to know that we realize that you have a choice of recreation activities for your children and we truly thank you for the faith you have placed in us…particularly during these very difficult economic times. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to teach such a wonderful group of young people and we thank you for your investment in us. Jennifer and the Staff
1st Competition is Dancers, Inc., January 15th - 17th at Nashua North High School! Everyone is invited to a celebration of our talented Dance and Baton Competition Teams! The teams will be performing all of their routines on Friday evening, January 8th at 8:00pm in the Amato Theater at the Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley in Milford. The Performing Company will also be making a guest appearance. This is a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to see the bigger kids perform and see what others in the studio are doing. Bring them to the show to support their schoolmates and perhaps it will inspire them to achieve a higher level of performance as well as a greater appreciation of the arts. Tickets are available at the studio for $5.00 and all proceeds will benefit the students by way of the Dollars for Dancers support group. AND...come and see the Dance Team in Competition at Nashua North High School on January 18th. The event is free so come on out and cheer the Team on.
Buddy week is January 25^th to the 30^th. Instead of a play date how about a performance date??? For a week starting January 24^th our current students are invited to bring a friend to show them why they enjoy dancing, acting, twirling, tumbling and performing. Let them join in the fun and see if they might like to “become Broadway Bound”. Bring a buddy to the studio and get a special edition t-shirt for you and your Buddy! We will be accepting new students up until January 31, 2008. At that time we will need to “lock in” our classes and prepare our dances for the annual performance in June. If you know of anyone who just finished soccer or cheerleading and would like to start taking classes please let them know they still have time to enroll. We have scheduled an Open House for Saturday, January 23rd from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Stop by and sign up for discounted classes...and bring a friend along to introduce then to Broadway Bound. You are our best and primary source of advertising...and we truly appreciate it. Referrals are rewarded with a t-shirt for the first referral, a bag for the second and a sweatshirt for the third. Why not share your performing arts experience with your friends?
Adult Beginner Tap Class Thursday, 7:00 - 7:45 Starting this Thursday Tuition is $45 month	WHY NOT INTRODUCE YOUR FRIENDS TO BROADWAY BOUND?
*Add a class for just $25 -* Once again we are offering additional classes at a reduced tuition. If you have been tempted to take an additional class but just couldn’t swing the increased expense this may be an opportunity for you. If you add an additional class in January we will discount the tuition to only $25 per month. That’s 50 percent off the normal one hour class tuition.
*Costumes are ordered…but maybe NOT yours!* All costumes have been ordered for those families that have paid for them. Unfortunately we are unable to order some costumes until we receive payment. If you have not paid for your costume(s) please do so as soon as possible. A late fee of $10 per costume will be charged on payments received after December 20^th. It is also important to note that your selection of AutoPay is for tuition only. We will not charge your credit card for costumes without a note from you authorizing us to do so! If you are not sure if you paid for your costume send us a note and we’ll check for you. IF YOU WANT US TO CHARGE YOUR CARD ON FILE YOU MUST SEND US AN EMAIL TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT.
Broadway Bound has added a non-recital tumbling class for Cheerleaders. The class will be held Thursdays from 5:30-6:15 starting January 7th. Tuition is $45 a month. Improve your tumbling skills in a first class environment without leaving Merrimack. For more information call the studio at 429-8844.
Don't forget your Shaws purchases reward Dollars for Dancers! Once again Broadway Bound will be participating in the Shaw's Neighborhood Rewards Program. If you shop at Shaws on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday a portion of your purchase will be given to Broadway Bound's Dollars for Dancers.
